Integrity

One of the key values in my own church is Integrity.  The Salvation Army website states that we will be honest and transparent in all our dealings with each other and those we serve, being open about our motives and agendas.

The word integrity comes from the Latin adjective integer, meaning whole, complete or undivided, thus, we should be living the same way in private as we do in public.

Jesus is the ultimate model of absolute integrity, acting in total obedience and humble service to the Father. Jesus came to offer salvation to everyone, the 'whosoever'.

Whoever means anyone, any person regardless of race, background, nationality, status, or past mistakes. There are no entry tests, no applications, no fees required to receive the grace of God - only a response of the heart.

Romans 10: 11-13, The Message
Scripture reassures us, “No one who trusts God like this—heart and soul—will ever regret it.” It’s exactly the same no matter what a person’s religious background may be: the same God for all of us, acting the same incredibly generous way to everyone who calls out for help. “Everyone who calls, ‘Help, God!’ gets help.”
