K is for Knockout

One of the highlights of the TV week from the late Sixties was "It's a Knockout", an unorthodox competition that pitted teams representing UK towns or cities in silly games, often with lots of water, foam or oversized rubber suits. Winning teams then played against towns from across the Continent in the international version entitled "Jeux Sans Frontières", which was broadcast all across Europe.
